Canal Boating Holidays

Generally you can hire a canal boat or narrowboat for one or more weeks. Occassionally , short breaks of 3 or 4 days are available'.

The season runs from early March until the end of October, but some canal boats and cruisers have central heating which makes them suitable all year round.

Hire narrowboats will have between 2 and 8 berths, some companies offer larger 10 and 12 berth boats. You will get brief instructions about handling the boat and about lock techniques. After that you are free to travel as you please

Sailing Holidays
